The Memorized Deck:

What is a Memorized Stack?

In The Six-hour Memorized Deck,
the following memorized decks are discussed:
  • The Nikola Stack,
  • The Marlo Stack,
  • The Ireland Stack,
  • The Skinner Stacks,
  • The McCaffrey Stack,
  • The Aronson Stack,
  • The Steele Stack,
  • The Aldrich Stack,
  • The Rix Stack.
A memorized stack can be partial or complete.

A partial memorized stack is a group of fewer than fifty-two cards that has been memorized.

A complete memorized stack, better known as a memorized deck, is a full deck of fifty-two cards that has been memorized.

BANG
When usisng a memorized stack, by the time you say Bang you already know the stack-number of a named card.
Once memorized, any complete stack becomes a memorized deck. This is also true of stacks set up accordng to a card system (Si Stebbins, Osterlind, etc.).

In 1927, the stack presented by Louis Nikola made quite some noise in the world of memorized deck magic.

I have been selling used magic books since 1994. During these 28 years, I was in contact with great customers, some of which with whom I had warm communications. It has always been a pleasure to supply books to those looking for them.

It’s now time for me to turn the page.
