This method is the one introduced by Juan Tamariz in Mnemonica as the Auditory Method.
Tamariz strongly suggests to combine it with a Visual Method, a Muscular Method, a Conceptual Method and a Security Method, all fully explained in his book.
1. Choose a few songs you are used to listen to or sing
2. Replace the lyrics of those songs with stack-numbers and card names
Take the lyrics "She loves you , yeah, yeah, yeah" and repeat them four times. Instead of using the original lyrics, replace them with the following, using a different scale or tone for each line.
Thirty-three, Eight of Clubs
Thirty-four, Ten of Spades
Thirty-five, King of Hearts
Thirty-six, Jack of Clubs
Proceed like above for all 52 cards of the stack, working four cards at a time with different songs.
3. Record yourself singning these lyrics
4. Listen back to the recording over and over for about three hours
I have been selling used magic books since 1994. During these 28 years, I was in contact with great customers, some of which with whom I had warm communications. It has always been a pleasure to supply books to those looking for them.
It’s now time for me to turn the page.
Our book inventory was moved to Bradbury Books, Kansas City, Missouri. The owner, Dan, has been selling new and used magic books since 1993, and offers a tremendous service to magicians.
Each week or so, his popular reverse auction goes on. New titles are added on a regular basis.
